Artist Statement

What is important to me as a painter is the artistic freedom I embrace in my work. I often start with sketches, sometimes concise, that serve as notes to guide me in creating the atmosphere. Light and color play a pivotal role in shaping the landscape, while individuality is key to creating characters and expressing the essence of architectural forms or the soul of an object. There are times when I intentionally leave out details, leaving room for interpretation, and others when a single detail ignites an entire concept.

My passion for art spans across many realms, from literature, philosophy, and history to technology, mechanics, and fantasy. Music, with its rhythm and melody, is a deep inspiration that accompanies me throughout my creative process, acting as a guide and complement. My work encompasses painting in various forms, from stand-alone canvases to conceptual illustrations for books and animations, where each brushstroke and illustration seeks to capture a deeper connection between subject and viewer.
